HOMEMADE CALABRIAN TOASTED BREAD also called “Pani Tosto” in our dialect, is made by baking in a wood-fired oven, in the same way as traditional bread, but in order to get the crispness it requires, it follows the step of double cooking. The Hard bread is a typical Calabrian product, it can be consumed according to the Calabrian tradition even wet in water.
Ingredients: Wheat flour 00, water, salt, beer yeast.
