Description
The CALABRIAN PANCETTA STRETCHED has a characteristic rectangular shape and is one of themost popular cold cut on Calabrian tables. It is obtained by using the lower cost of pigs. Inside it has, inalternate layers, fat and lean parts.
After the initial processing, it is subjected to salting and the externalpart is enriched with a generous amount of chili powder that covers the entire surface.
Finally it is left tomature through a slow and accurate seasoning. The stretched bacon is ideal to eat sliced together with acheese platter, but also as ingredient for the preparation of delicious sauces.
Ingredients: Pork meat, salt, chilli, dextrose, sucrose, natural flavoring, antioxidant : E300, preservatives: E250-E252.
